Working in the UK |
UK Visa Information
It is vital that you have a valid work permit before you arrive in the UK. The main types of visa that allow you to work in the UK include:
• The Working Holiday Visa • Highly Skilled Migrant Visa • UK Ancestry Visa • Right of Abode • Spouse Entry Clearance • Work Permit
There are other visas that allow you to work in the UK, but the best place to find out about them is on the www.workingintheuk.gov.uk official site. If you are an EEA, EU or British Citizen you do not need a visa to work in the UK. Here at Citifocus we ask candidates who we place into contracting & temping jobs to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK prior to starting any assignment with us. We will need to take a photocopy of your passport/visa at the registration stage. If you are looking for permanent work, you will need to provide proof of work eligibility directly to our client and also to us. Please remember to let us know what type of visa you have on your CV or when communicating with your Citifocus consultant. In some cases we will need to see professional qualifications/degree certificates.
Disclaimer: Please note that Citifocus cannot take responsibility for the accuracy of visa information. For the most up to date information on regulations and changes please always check with your UK Embassy or go online to www.workingintheuk.gov.uk
